ESF grad student Grace Anderson used ESF's Career Fellowship to pursue her passion for reducing food waste.
After she learned about the damaging effects of rotting food waste in landfills, Grace applied for the Career Fellowship to fund her collaboration with OCRRA on a feasibility study for a compositing program at Nottingham High School. Her conclusions included recommendations on how the high school could not only be more sustainable, but save money doing so.
