Caroline Dignes (MDE ’23) entered the Master in Design Engineering (MDE) program after working as a textile developer and designer in the theater world. She brought her interest in materials into the program, where she learned about biologically inspired engineering and design. She then combined her passions and studies to work on hydrophobic textiles.
