Hoo boy. Who would have thought that Iâd enjoy Stuck With U by Justin Beiber and Ariana Grande, let alone record a cover of it? Me, of course, because itâs a song I can get behind and one that was relatively easy for me to learn on the piano.
Letâs be honest, Iâve not been the best at uploading this year, seeing as a lot of my favorite sources of music have been drying up and the things I want to post just donât get the traction that they used to.
Letâs see if this song gives me the motivation to start posting regularly again.

Hallelujah is one of those songs that you never really know why everyone knows it or why everyone sings it, but itâs just a really good song overall and really makes me feel at peace. Also itâs one of those songs that no one really agrees on whose name goes first, Leonard Cohen or Jeff Buckley. Iâve always wanted to sing this song but I needed to find a decent acoustic instrumental that didnât make my voice go super high, and even now this version is still a bit above my comfort zone.
Ever since I posted my first singing video on YouTube Iâve never really felt comfortable with how I sounded. Nowadays, Iâve gotten over it and am starting to treat YouTube the same way I treat karaoke sessions with my friends and family: weâre just singing together, having a good time, and it doesnât matter if we sound terrible or not because at the end of the day who cares? Itâs good fun, and thatâs why Iâm starting to title my singing videos as âkaraoke sessionsâ.
