I woke up recently to find that my creativity had disappeared! No motivation, inspiration, or desire to draw or paint – it was like I was sitting on a block of artistic kryptonite! Well, this discussion is about how I deal with being stuck in a creative slump or artistic block and ways to get out.
IDEAS TO GET OUT OF A CREATIVE SLUMP OR ARTIST BLOCK
1. Force Yourself to Work Creatively - Stay with your creativity, don't abandon it!
2. Revisit the Basics - When the creative spirit is out, stick to the fundamentals.
3. Be Creative with Everyday Objects - Find creativity in things all around you.
4. Be Creative with Your Food - Go ahead and play with your food... it's healthy! (sometimes!)
5. Explore Other Outlets of Creativity - Find other ways to explore your sense of curiosity.
