Stuck Cat on Stairs - Why Does Kitty Do This?!?! - Our cat, Sparta "The Mean Kitty", has some strange habits but this one may be the weirdest of them all. He intentionally walks himself to the end of our stairway banister; then, when he realizes that he's a stuck cat, backs himself up slowly to retrace his steps. He doesn't jump, he's not scared of heights and there's real reason for him to walk the banister. It's weird but also quite funny! Does your cat do this? What does your cat do on stairs?
