How to reach the gorgeous Stäuben waterfall near Lucerne Switzerland. We rode a cable car up to the alpine pastures above the falls. Then hiked across the mountain and down river to reach the base of the falls.

For an easier day, I also have an alternative that walks along a service road directly to the falls, skipping the mountain trail.
