STS-135 crew members Chris Ferguson, Doug Hurley, Sandra Magnus and Rex Walheim practiced driving the M113 armored personnel carrier near Launch Pad 39B at the Kennedy Space Center on June 21, 2011.
The M113 would be used in the emergency case that the astronauts needed to flee from the vicinity of the pad on the day of their launch, the last for the space shuttle program, targeted for July 8.
