It’s a crisp day in Amiga, the island occupied mostly by pirates in the warm seas of Tropical Paradise™. The crew of the Windlass have completed their tasks of restocking the ship and enjoy their day. After restocking pickles (a delicious salty snack full of Vitamin C) for the journey, ship’s cook Eli Salamander takes to his old haunt, strip club the Moistened Nipple. The windlass’s Brand Manager Redd Robin tags along — she thought it was a date, but actually Eli has just invited her along to meet some old friends, including bartender Sally Tortoise, who specializes in the grenadine-based cocktail “Shelly Temple” (it’s just grenadine.) Meanwhile, Nika has stayed behind to do more work, trying to prove herself as a reliable crewmember despite her past as a crew member of the unsavory Sea Word. Nika discusses the nature of “wet” with bosun's mate Crab. Ship’s armorer (and former Moistened Nipple bouncer) Phaedra, whose specialty is mostly just her fists, takes sword lessons! Phaedra’s teacher is Mitt, a bouncer at Undress’ms strip club.

All four crew members are visited by the town’s Sherrif — a dog named Spitfire Bloodtooth, who brings them letters from the governor summoning them to her home.

Mayor Boots Takahashi welcomes in the crew and tells them of an important mission. Two powers in the seas are both seeking a powerful pendant that would give them immense magical power, and shift the balance of power. It’s important that this pendant — the Ocean’s Sapphire — not fall into either of their hands. The crew must go to each of these powers to find a relic that will help lead them to the Sapphire. The Pod of Tides is a xenophobic merfolk group who holds the Scepter of Storms. SCAAM is a corporate mining group who currently holds the Chalice of Plenty.

Our crew takes these orders back to the Windlass’s captain Francesca Oglesby, who agrees that the ship will follow the needed paths to find these relics. As they prepare to depart, Phaedra and Nika bond over sword lessons, Eli makes dinner with his familiar Dragon (who is a seagull), and Redd convinces the first mate Lexi to take on the dangerous adventure. -- Watch live at twitch.tv/lasertheboy
