To accompany the release of my new album, Struktura Revisited, out on A Strangely Isolated Place, I performed a Bandcamp Live set, direct from my studio to the world.
The double album features the cloudy, warm beautiful work of my dear friend Polish composer Olga Wojciechowska, plus my reworkings of her music on the second LP. Most of my interpretations were recorded live on hardware in the studio at the time, so to replicate this kind of dynamic, I played entirely live, improvising around some of the themes on a table-top of gear. I used an Elektron Digitakt, 1010Music Blackbox, Arturia Microfreak, Meng Qi Gesture Arcade, Lorre Mill Double Knot, Apple iPad, plus effects from Soma Cosmos, Hologram Electronics Microcosm and Eventide H9.
