Fiberglassing is such a cool process (and this is just the hull, the least interesting part of this kayak). Watching the white glass cloth turn clear is so satisfying, plus this adds a lot of structure and protection to the boat. The clean up process offsets this fun a little bit, but if you time things right you can avoid sanding. As you can see, I didn’t time things right, but I definitely will when I do the top side of the kayak, right? Probably not. I used TotalBoat High Performance Epoxy for this.
