-Potassium helps axons do their job by facilitated diffusion
- Potassium channels are a ball and tunnel shaped; when the ball is attached in different places, it can do different things
- Sodium rushes in through the channels down the concentration gradient so that potassium can go out
- Function: Allow potassium to go out
- Difference between diffusion and facilitated diffusion
