Stroudsburg's mayor has declared a state of emergency and temporarily prohibited nighttime public gatherings along part of Main Street following what borough officials described as dangerous and disruptive activity over the weekend.
“When you see the video and you see the immature behavior and the reckless behavior that was out there, I was just like, I can’t let this happen again," said Stroudsburg Mayor Ellen M. Currie outside the Stroudsburg Borough building. "You know, this is not good.”
