Meet CU Denver’s student-led dragon boat team.

Dragon boat is hard—but our students are tougher. This determined group of Lynx make up Colorado’s only collegiate dragon boat team. On the water, they build physical strength, mental fortitude, and deep bonds with one another. In the classroom, all of those things come together to help them succeed in meeting their moment as college students.
Dragon boat is a rigorous paddling sport that hails from southern China and dates back to roughly 2,000-year-old legend. It has increasingly global popularity today. Colorado is home to the United States’ largest dragon boat festival, which the CU Denver dragon boat team intends to compete in.
