When you’re restoring rare supercars, finding replacement parts isn’t just hard, sometimes it’s impossible.
Graham Rahal Performance (GRP) faced that challenge with the legendary Jaguar XJ220. The original exhaust hangers had corroded beyond repair, and no replacements existed.
Using the Markforged FX10 and carbon fiber-reinforced composites, GRP redesigned and 3D-printed hangers that are stronger than the OEM parts. They even custom printed a coil bracket to retrofit a modern MSD coil, all while maintaining the car’s iconic look.
