We bought a Ferrari 296 GTB which had been crashed, so that we could strip it for all it's useful parts...the problem being that it's a Category B insurance write-off - meaning we only have 30 days to complete the work before the chassis must be destroyed.
That wouldn't ordinarily be a problem, our technicians can strip a car in as little as 2 weeks if they need to! However, I've been challenged to strip the car in time...but I have no mechanical training or experience of any kind!
So far I've managed to get most of the interior out, as well as the rear suspension. Next up is bodywork, rear & front lights and front suspension...and it doesn't necessarily go to plan!
