I had to dispose of an APC Smart-UPS 3000, a 3KVA uninterruptible power supply which consists of a tin box, about 16KG of lead acid batteries, 1.KG of circuit board and two transformers weighing 6.5KG each. Not a good idea to dispose of whole, so I took it down to the major bits.

Here I see how long it takes to strip the transformer even more.
