Hello my darlings :D I got this idea a couple months ago now, and if anyone knows me personally then they know how much I adore the horror genre, and halloween is without a doubt my favourite holiday, so I thought Id open my first halloween themed MEP ^^ Theres a few others going around now that its almost september, and truthfully I wish I could join all of them, so I hope I didnt upload this too late (the icons took FOREVER!). I wanted to try something a little more personal with this one, so I may end up being very picky about choosing my editors, but only because I have a very specific theme and rules this time...
Theme: Recreate your favourite horror game/movie/tv show/anime/manga using non/disney. It doesnt have to be as exact as the pictures shown in the video above, but outfit/hair swaps, colour correction, original animation even, etc, is highly recommended so your part can look as close to your favourite horror thing as can be :D
Rules:
*First off, as I said I will be choosing my editors very carefully! Please dont be offended if I dont pick you /)o(
*Render your part in 720p or 1080p, I really dont want to ask anyone to rerender their part because its 144p (that has happened)
*Professional programs such as Sony Vegas and Adobe Premiere/After Effects etc ONLY. I expect heavy masking in this MEP so you can convey your movie mostly through visuals, so if I stop by your channel and I see little to no masking/manips, Im sorry but I wont be choosing you for this one
*Each part is cut to the exact time so no extra seconds, no watermarks as I will be doing them myself, no colourings or typography, I want your part to look as real as possible
*Considering the short length of each part, you can ask for TWO back to back if youd prefer; each part is around 8 seconds
*This will be a horror MEP to the core, so dont be afraid to go all out if your fav calls for it: blood, violence, anything goes!
*Youre allowed to use the original source material for backgrounds/background characters if youd like, but please recreate your main characters using only non/disney. Also, it shouldnt have to be noted that anime can be used with 2D, and games/live action can be used with 3D parts respectively (Ariel in Mirai Nikki or Elsa in American Horror Story for example)
*Because this is a casting sort of video, characters can be repeated twice
*When youre done, please upload your part to youtube/mediafire/sendspace and link it to me in your original comment thread
*This is only my third MEP and already Ive had trouble with deadlines and people keeping them, and seeing as this is a very specific idea I would really like it to be uploaded on time. As such, if my October warning comes around and I dont hear back from you, or if the deadline passes with no word on progress, then YOU WILL BE REPLACED. It is incredibly stressful to hunt down parts and I have other things Id rather worry about
