MESSAGE OVERVIEW
What happens when following Jesus leads you somewhere you would not have chosen for yourself? In John 21, Jesus tells Peter that a day will come when he will stretch out his hands and be led where he does not want to go. That picture becomes an invitation for every person who wants to follow Jesus beyond comfort, control, pride, and fear. This message explores what surrender can look like in real life: serving without needing recognition, welcoming people you might once have avoided, receiving correction without becoming defensive, and trusting God when your circumstances do not make sense. You may be fighting to escape a job, a difficult season, a disappointment, or a situation you never expected. But transformation does not always begin when the situation changes. Sometimes it begins when you open your hands and say, “Jesus, lead me.” You do not have to understand every step. You can entrust your life, your calling, your future, and even your unanswered questions to the One who sees you, cares for you, and knows where He is taking you.
