Just me stress testing my poor little laptop with a ton of apps and whatnot. Gala kept up with me for the most part, but Kazam (and/or my graphics card) did not. :P Without Kazam recording, Gala stayed impressively smooth.

Recorded on my Samsung Series 5 Ultra 13". 2nd Gen 1.6 GHz Core i5, 4GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics 3000.
