Stress Positions is a band from Chicago, IL. The band has three members from the now-defunct C.H.E.W. with the addition of vocalist Stephanie Brooks. The band formed in 2020 and plays forward-looking classic American hardcore punk. A debut EP, Walang Hiya, was released in May of 2021 on Open Palm tapes and released on vinyl by Iron Lung Records in September 2023. The band’s first LP, Harsh Reality, followed that up in December of the same year on Three One G Records.
The band's upcoming release, Human Zoo, will be released on Three One G in the Spring of 2025, and features remixes from Planet B and Made by Human Hands. As always, Stress Positions remains anti-colonialist and anti-capitalist, amongst the many other things that fall into these frameworks. Topics addressed on this release include draconian abortion laws, washed up comedians who can’t cope with a changing world, the longlasting effects of Western colonialism, the Israeli genocide, subjugation and occupation of the Palestinian people and their lands, Right Wing military indoctrination, and being a person of color in a white-dominated subculture.
Human Zoo EP was recorded by Matt Russell (REZN, OOZING WOUND, C.H.E.W., BIG LAUGH) at Altered States Studio in Chicago, March 2024. Mastered by James Plotkin (VOIVOD, KHANATE, FULL OF HELL, TRIAC, BACKSLIDER). Human Zoo is available digitally as well as on limited edition color vinyl.

For this split, The HIRS Collective combine chaotic forces with Deaf Club on an original track, “Biblical Loophole” as well as a Nirvana cover of “Tourette’s.” The HIRS Collective exists to fight for, defend, and celebrate the survival of trans, queer, poc, black, women and any and all other folks who have to constantly face violence, marginalization, and oppression. They are “a collective of freaks and faggots that will never stop existing. Infinite and never ending. No one is going to kill us, we are going to live forever.”
Deaf Club is a savage sound bath dripping with sardonicism: a blastbeat-centric hardcore punk assault channeling crust, thrash, and grind (un)sensibilities. Justin Pearson, Brian Amalfitano, Scott Osment, and Collin Peter Smith, approach music as an opportunity to confront our collective sicknesses.
Fuck Money is an American scrape rock band based in Austin, TX. The group debuted in October 2021 consisting of members TaSzlin Trébuchet, Alton Jenkins, Bill Kenny, and Jeremy Humphries. Their sound draws on punk rock, noise, industrial, extreme music and other transgressive subgenres. The merciless & melodic stick-work of Alton Jenkins paired with the visceral intensity of frontman TaSz Trébuchet guides listeners down a path of challenging yet awe-inspiring sonic behavior.
This 7” split will be available digitally as well as on limited edition color vinyl in three variants, ketchup, mustard, and splatter.
