As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen emergency response capacity in the #WestBank, the World Health Organization, with support from the EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid, recently conducted a new round of Mass Casualty Management (MCM) training.
70 participants from emergency units in seven Ministry of Health (MoH) hospitals received training delivered jointly with MoH trainers.
The training strengthened preparedness and response to mass casualty incidents, supported the development of hospital emergency plans, and will ensure the timely availability of emergency support during sudden crises.
WHO remains committed to building the capacity of frontline #healthworkers to manage mass casualty incidents and enable lifesaving interventions across the occupied Palestinian territory.
