Guys, this is probably my last Septiplier edit for a while, if not for good, and I have a few words I'd like to say.

Yes... this ship sunk faster than The Titanic thanks to rabid fangirls who couldn't respect not only Jack and Mark but also their girlfriends. It's gotten way out of hand and it's really sad to see it's caused a rift in their friendship, at least in public. I thought we could ship them in a light-hearted, non-serious way and still be good and respectful individuals, and some of us are, but some just bring shame to the whole community.

And it's not the concept of Septiplier or shipping that freaks them out, it never was. We fucking had Jack reblogging Septiplier fanart, we had their cute interactions and collabs - it was all there. It's the deaththreats to their girlfriends, the fact that some send NSFW fanart and creepy fanfics to them and expect them to do something Septiplier related every time they interact... it's just TOO MUCH. Take a step back and think of your actions. Wouldn't you rather have thrown away the ship than to see Jack and Mark's actual friendship affected in a negative way, see them grow reserved and awkward around each other? Doesn't mean we can't appreciate how awesome they are still.

Please don't send them this, I beg of you. Depending on if things calm down or not, I'm not editing Septiplier again. When I came into this ship I wasn't aware of how bad things actually are. I'm fucking done with the crazy, toxic part of the community and I can't bear the thought of making something that would perhaps make two of my favorite people uncomfortable. Tbh the idea of this ship can go to hell then for all I care, their happiness and well-being come first.

On a more positive note, I can't remember the last time I had so much fun editing... this was such an emotional experience and I lowkey cried while making it lmfao, both from frustration and happiness.

While it can certainly be interpreted that way, this edit is much more than a tribute to Séan and Mark's friendship. After all the joyous moments they have given me just by existing, I wanted to convey just how great they are. Not only are they exceptional and talented human beings but they've done so much good and I know they are - as to me - a bright light in the dark for many people out there. I respect them so much, ugh. Thank you for all that you've done and for all that you continue to do, guys ♡
