Integrating Renishaw inspection fixtures into your Fusion designs just got easier with the new Renishaw add-in. This powerful tool lets you import Renishaw fixture components directly into your Fusion project and use them to build a complete inspection fixture.
Once your fixture is built, you can create an assembly report that includes step-by-step instructions on how to build the fixture, along with images and a bill of materials. Positions for placing fixture components are provided using the alphanumeric legend found on Renishaw fixture plates.
In addition to fixture components, the add-in also allows you to import probe styli into your Fusion tool library. Use the styli with inspection toolpaths and the Renishaw Equator post to program inspection routines for the Renishaw Equator.
After you have built your fixture and are satisfied with the design, you can order your fixture components and styli from Renishaw directly within Fusion to complete the workflow.
The design and build tools are available to all Fusion users, but the ordering workflow is currently restricted to U.S.-based users only.
