In this video, Yvonne does a garden update and we build boxes for the strawbales in Yvonne's garden. The one problem with growing in Strawbales is, as the get older, and the more they decompose, the lose their structural integrity and begin to sag and lose their shape. The good news is, the order the straw gets, the better they are as a growing medium. So in order to get the most out of our bales, we built frames to go around the bales and to provide them with additional support as they get older and decompose.
