schnee | STRANGER THINGS Needs More DEATH?? (Should Max have...?) @schnee1 | Uploaded 2 years ago | Updated 3 hours ago

"We need to be Game of Thrones," said Millie Bobby Brown in reference to the Duffer brothers' hesitance to kill off main characters. Should there be more Stranger Things characters rotting in the cold Hawkins dirt right now? Should Max have died? What about Hopper? What about Steve? Is the Game of Thrones model worth copying or is it even possible to copy for a radically different show like Stranger Things? Death can make for powerful moments (as we saw in the first seasons of Game of Thrones), but it can also be used as a cheap gimmick (as we saw in the latter seasons). What's the difference between a GOOD use of death and a cheap one? And what can Mickey Mouse teach us about all this??
