My latest soundtrack collaboration with Avocado Animations. We aim to create a kind of cheesy thriller action TV Show underscore/soundtrack with a crazy, emotive twist at the end.

For the suspense part, I had a lot of fun recording with the short strings, spiccato, and tom drums from @spitfireaudiollp Abbey Road One Orchestral Foundation. Abbey Road reverberance sounded spectacular. Both instruments are using Mix 1 with close mics signal at around 50%.

For the emotive piano part, I recorded the Steinway 1928. I liked its intimate character, especially on the softer dynamics. And, decided to record with the @EWQLTutorials Hollywood strings sustain patch, it sounded great with lots of emotion and very well balanced across the ranges. I used the default mix and reverb.
