Season 1, episode 3 "Holly, Jolly" starts off with Foreigner's hit "Waiting for a Girl Like You" playing while Steve Harrington takes Nancy Wheeler's virginity. This scene is juxtaposed with Barbara Holland's last moments alive in the upside down.
Only one slight problem: the track used in the episode is a re-recording from 2011 featuring new lead vocalist Kelly Hansen, who didn't even join the band until 2005.
I was always a bit frustrated by this slight anachronism in the hit Netflix show Stranger Things, and decided to try and fix things up.
