For those who think I was away for these past five days, I just want you to know that I'm working hard on the website for all of you! On September 1st, have a look on the channel for the grand opening! A new logo is coming with - finally - a new look for the videos as well as for the channel, the gift system will be functional and much more!

Meanwhile, let me introduce you to "Drunk Science" by Stranger, a cocktail that has a lot of secondary effects, I should have put a "Warning" over the logo! Listen with moderation... if you can resist of course ;)
"Drunk Science" is the first song where Stranger used vocals (though it's just one normal sentence and 1 reversed sentence).

But who is that Stranger? Living in Holland - Rotterdam, he's a 16 years old producer who only started experimenting with FL studio since about 3 months! Already manipulating sounds with ease, Stranger's first serious releases are not even a month old. He is actually learning the popular software Ableton Live but isn't enough used to yet to produce songs with it. I'm sure that guy will unleash crazy tracks with the power of Ableton sooner or later!If you wonder what kind of plugins Stranger uses, we can list nothing but the uncontested Massive from Native Instruments, Z3ta, Ohmicide, Sausage Fattener and PoiZone to name a few.

His main influences in music are Skrillex, Poseidon and Datsik. But Stranger not only enjoy Dubstep and Electronic music, he also likes to listen at multiple genres of music such as rock, death metal, electropop (Owl city), reggae, punk, hip-hop, gangster rap, etc. He also wrote a piano piece but it seems to be kept closely secret! The first song of Stranger was kind of old-school Dubstep but he slowly started to create more electronic songs, exploring some of the possibilities offered by the digital era. Nevertheless, that way wasn't fitting with him. Stranger finally got back into more filthy tunes to provide us with nice tracks like Sugar, FTW, Danger and obviously this one, Drunk Science. His intentions are definitely to stick with these heavy Dubstep tracks.

Stranger doesn't imitate other artists and he doesn't modify his music to current trends or anything. Sure he is probably inspired by Skrillex or Datsik, but in no way is he a copycat. He just creates what he likes and enjoy doing so. Of course he hopes that people will like it, but I'm sure he doesn't have to worry about that!

Another skill of this young artist that is important to mention : Stranger started playing guitar about 4 to 5 years ago He then bought a bass guitar in March 2010 and a drum kit around March 2011. And what does Stranger do with all that? Sometimes, he uses real instruments to come up with melodies or rhythms! He started out playing in bands a few years ago and used to be the guitarist / bassist of the bands, but he stopped about 6 months ago. Stranger is also starting a music education next year.
