i know you. hidden deep within the swamps of Lemoyne, you can stumble upon a decaying shack near Lakay, that houses the shadow of a familiar figure. the strange man. the mysterious, enigmatic character who confronted john marston with cryptic warnings and moral tests from rdr1. in rdr2, his presence is more subtle. inside, you’ll find a painting that completes itself throughout several visits. you’d also find an alligator trapped below his shack. before the blackwater massacre, arthur morgan mentioned in his journal hearing rumors about a mysterious man resembling trelawny, even though the gang hadn’t seen trelawny for months. given the strong resemblance between this figure and the strange man, arthur may have actually encountered the strange man in blackwater.
