Finally! There are a lot of sloppy plays but I finished the mission in one go and without using any 'cheese' like Hive Mind Emulator and Ghosts in Bunkers and cloaked Ghosts in choke points. Not to mention my armory and laboratory upgrades aren't really helping me in this mission. I don't have the Perdition Turret, Thor cannon and the Refinery upgrade and it really puts me back by a lot. As you can see I'm often low on gas - it is badly needed here In my opinion. This is the most challenging campaign mission for SC2 Wings of Liberty. Even with loads, it is absolutely intense on Brutal difficulty. My play could be greatly improved, but I'm happy with the result.
Recorded using Shadowplay at 1440p 130mbps/60fps. I capped the frames to 99 fps (not 100 because G-Sync stops working at 100 fps). I recommend to watch in 1440p resolution for best quality, even though your monitor is only 1080p.
I maxed out the settings (all ultra and extreme, and did a sweetfx reshade mod for SMAA, sharpening, and clarity - trust me it looks a lot better) for your viewing benefit. Even edited variables.txt file to max out the texturesize to 4096. My system managed to stay above 60 fps. The 7700k performs really well even pushing the GTX 1080 Ti quite a bit. The only time it dropped below 60 is when the Leviathan attacked my base and it only dropped for a few seconds. This mission (and the last mission of Whispers of Doom) can be used as a good benchmark for your processors.
So yeah, this took me a while to pull off but with the Planetary Fortress wall in strategy really paid off. Kerrigan is just that absolutely overpowered in Brutal. Hope you enjoy the video.

A good fight. No excessive jumping/evading over thugs. Just a freeflow combat showcase. Very happy with the performance and score. Got +20 bonus / rival points for the leaderboard. (Volumes a little low on this video, will check on my recording settings)

The #1 rank leaderboard is probably more than twice this score, but the technique used there is boring and abusive. I can probably get to 150k+ without using any cheap tricks or excessive evasion, but the technique could be borderline abusive. Im happy with this score.
First time playing with a 4k resolution. While I didnt have a high refresh 4k monitor, even coming from a 21:9 1440p resolution, I still noticed an improvement in detail and sharpness of the image. 4k is the real deal. I have an LG C9 55 waiting so Im very excited to test it out. My GPU cant handle 4k 120hz with this game though. Might be looking on an upgrade with the RTX 3090.")
