Staunton Castle presents the new edition of Wellington Staunton Chess Set named Strachan Series. The Knight head of this chess set in actual was designed by the Master Craftsman Sr. Bhupinder Singh the owner of the manufacturing company named Mandeep Handicrafts located in the city of Amritsar the Craftsman. At first this knighthead was introduced in the year 2012 by House of Staunton, USA in their chess set named Camelot Series. After them various chess companies used this knighthead in their chess sets with different designs. Now we have decided to launch this chess set under the banner of our retail company Staunton Castle. The Chess set is made in the African Padouk and Boxwood. All the pieces are well polished with natural wheel clothed polish.
# The King height is 4.25” and the base size is 1.875”
# The King weight is 120 grams
# Total weight of this chess set is 2500 grams
# This chess set is coming with two extra Queens
# The high quality Green baize cloth is pasted on the bases
# All the pieces are triple weighted and well balanced weighted. Ebony wood is very heavy wood as compare to box wood. We have filled the weights in box wood pieces well balanced with ebony pieces.
# The recommended board size for this chess set is 2.5” Square
