At 37 years old, I never imagined I’d be back home living with my mom and raising my son under her roof (again.) But here I am—pursuing nursing, working toward a better future for my child and me. At first, it felt heavy, but God has been showing me that this is a blessing. Not everyone has a safe place to return to, and I’m grateful He gave me somewhere to land while I walk this journey. “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” - Philippians 4:19
I truly believe God placed me back here for a reason. Even though it’s not always easy—especially living with people who aren’t saved—I know He has a purpose. “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” -Romans 8:28
This is a season of growth, faith, and obedience. I want to use this time to plant seeds, shine the light of Christ in my home, and break generational curses that have lingered in my bloodline. “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” -John 1:5
I may not understand it all right now, but I trust the One who does. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” -Jeremiah 29:11
This is just the beginning of the testimony He’s writing for me and my son. ✝️
