Yes! StoryCorps Mobile Tour has arrived in downtown Yuma!
Groundbreaking personal history project StoryCorps returns to Yuma with the 2019 tour of its MobileBooth—the Airstream trailer converted into a mobile recording studio.The MobileBooth will offer Americans the simple yet singular opportunity to record meaningful conversations about their lives, to be preserved for posterity in the StoryCorps Archive at the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress.
From November 20 to December 21, the MobileBooth will wrap up its tour of the US in Yuma. Reservations, which are free, can be booked online at storycorps.org/stops/mobile-stop-yuma/.
