Following the Nintendo Switch 2 announcement during Nintendo Direct, Marvelous has released a brand-new trailer for STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar. The trailer showcases life in Zephyr Town, featuring farming, livestock raising, fishing, exploration, the bazaar system, and marriage mechanics. It ends with a Nintendo Switch 2 logo, confirming that an optimized version for the next-gen console is on its way.
According to the official Japanese website, the Switch 2 edition will offer higher resolution & improved frame rates and mouse support – a new feature aimed at enhancing certain gameplay mechanics for Switch 2 joycon.
However, these improvements come at a higher price. The Switch 2 version is priced at ¥7,700, which is 16% more expensive than the Switch 1 edition at ¥6,600. In USD, Marvelous' official press release confirms $59.99 for Switch 2 and $49.99 for Switch 1. For those who already own the original Switch version, Marvelous will offer an Upgrade Pack that allows players to access the Switch 2 version without repurchasing the entire game.

After previously Bandai Namco Region Japan released a trailer for the release date a few days ago, now Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has also announced the same thing. Interestingly, the release date for DORAEMON STORY OF SEASONS: Friends of the Great Kingdom was also announced to be on the same day, November 2, 2022 for all supported platforms.
In the trailer which lasts approximately 2 minutes, Bandai Namco describes the beautiful natural atmosphere of the planet Illuma which is the background for this latest title. Nobita and his friends suddenly arrived at that place with a mysterious reason that until now has not been explained. Accompanied by one of the residents of Illuma named Lumis, Nobita and his friends want to make their new friends dream come true, to be able to see residents on the planet Illuma can live harmoniously together and help each other. Yes... a classic story from the Story of Seasons series.
Just like the first trailer, in this trailer, Bandai Namco continues to introduce a 2 player mode that allows you to play together with your friends locally coop in caring for the existing farm. Of course, what distinguishes the DORAEMON STORY OF SEASONS series from the Story of Seasons series in general is the presence of various Secret Gadget from Doraemons pocket. Starting from Adaptation Ray which can allow you as a player to explore the vast ocean to Extra Hold Cloud Spray to be able to build new fields separately in the clouds.
