Hello and welcome to GamerU tips and tricks for Stormblades for the iPad.
When it comes to gaming most games have that one enemy that when they appear on screen, all the gamers in the room let out a collective groan of frustration towards the enemy. This game is no exception to that part of gaming.
In this game, the most frustrating enemy that you can run into would be the pot-bellied enemies. They are those enemies with the big gut that wield a mace. Don’t let that large figure fool you. These enemies are usually pretty quick and strong.
That is especially true if you don’t know how to handle them. Thankfully, there is a way.
For the most part, these enemies can be handled just like most the other enemies in the game. Thus, you can hack-and-slash away in attempts to damage them and destroy their armor.
However, pay attention. While these enemies can be handled just like the other enemies, they do have a special move that sets them apart. There are two parts to this special move.
The first is their stance. When the pot-bellied enemies are setting up their special move, they will stand still and cross their arms. Once this happens, that is the signal to cease your attacks.
If you don’t, that will lead to the second part of the move, which involves the enemy unleashing a powerful, charged attack that is nearly impossible to avoid. Due to the difficulty that comes with avoiding this attack, if it gets launched, there is a strong chance that you will lose a decent chunk of your health.
If you fall prey to this powered attack, you will probably find yourself muttering profanities and wishing you had known better. Luckily, there is a way to keep the number of times this attack is unleashed to a minimum. All you have to do is wait out the enemy. Usually, if you don’t attack during this stance, they will release an easily dodged attack. Dodge it and proceed to kicking that bad guy’s butt.
These enemies are one of the main hassles of this game; however, they aren’t invincible and these powerhouse attacks can be dealt with. Thus, handle these enemies with care and you will be on your way to victory.
