It is unknown who made it. Since this was made in 1937, it can't be Virginia May. It could possibly be rare outtakes from the 1925 version of THE LOST WORLD. But wait, this could be the work of Jospeh L. Roop, who made animated films with prehistoric monsters before THE LOST WORLD. Or after. I am thinking that it was early test footage by Edward Nassour and Walter Lantz made for the unmade epic, THE LOST ATLANTIS. Maybe it is from a home movie from that period called QUEST FOR THE STEGOSAURUS. Or perhaps they were made for this reel.
