Today, on “Stop-Motion Rarities”, we take a look at a home movie by Doug Beswick, with make-up by Rick Baker. Here, it is about a tribe of caveman hunting a Diatryma, a prehistoric predatory bird. I have seen a clip of it on the Sci-Fi channel (before it was called SyFy), on a documentary about Rick Baker. This was made during their time-off at Cascade Pictures, a studio where commercials are made back in the 1960s and 70s.
