In this video, Iām showcasing a completed CNC controller build for a client using my SMCU integrated driver. This is a full retrofit designed for longevity, reliability, and industrial-grade performance for an aerospace clients.
This system is built around the SMCU integrated driver, which serves as the brains of the operation. From there, I handled every aspect of the build personally:
Spindle cable ā custom-built for optimal shielding and durability
Limit switch cables ā precision-made for reliable homing and safety
VFD data interface cable ā built to ensure clean communication between the controller and spindle drive
Every connection was carefully planned, routed, and terminated to eliminate noise, reduce failure points, and create a system that will serve my client reliably for years to come.
