♥ In today's video, I talk about the idea that you constantly need to improve and work to achieve the next great thing to be happy. It is a mindset that works for some very driven people who are motivated and get a kick out of constantly looking for the next thrill. But for a lot of people, getting stuck in this mindset can be very toxic. I think I'm one of them. I equate success, drive, motivation with not being satisfied, pleased or happy with where I am at. I have always struggled with being "just happy". And I think I need to stop the toxic hunt for fulfilment and just let myself be happy with what I've got. It does not mean that I will never strive to achieve new things. That is, of course, necessary the day I no longer am fulfilled and happy with where I'm at. But I don't feel the need to hunt for more at the moment and that is okay.
