Once you know what makes up a chord, and you learn some background in chord theory, you will soon start to break free from those rigid chords and find they are actually very flexible. They can be a starting point but are by no means the final destination. Explore the CAGED system with me and find that even old paths can lead to new discoveries.

Oblivion is an amazing piece I first played with Carel Kraayenhof and later also in combination with Janine Jansen. That experience has been one of the most wonderful performances I ever was a part of.
Now, many years later, Paul Landsberg and I started playing in a duo together Called The Stringtones, playing a lot of Wold Music. For this duo I finally arranged the piano and bass parts of Oblivion for guitar over which Paul plays his interpretation of the melody.
