If your clothing is on fire, use stop, drop and roll technique, that means stop immediatly, drop on the floor and then roll on the floor to stop the flames.
IF another person is on fire force him to the ground and try to roll him to stop the fire. A fire blanket can be used if it's handy. Put the blanket over the head and proceed slowly towards the feet.
Do not simply drop the blanket over the victim. Remove the blanket once the fire is extinguished.
Fire blankets can also be used to provide fire protection when it becomes necessary to escape from fire area. If possible soak the blanket in water before you start your escape. Soaking the blanket provides added protection against the fire.
