Jumpstarting a dead cordless drill battery might seem like a quick fix, but it can permanently damage your battery or even cause a fire! In this video, I explain why jumpstarting is dangerous and show you the right way to revive your dead battery safely.

🔋 What You’ll Learn:
✅ Why jumpstarting can overcharge and destroy your battery
✅ How to safely check your battery’s voltage
✅ The correct way to recharge low-voltage cells
✅ When to replace dead cells instead of risking damage

💡 Fix Your Battery the Right Way:
1️⃣ Disassemble your battery and measure the voltage of each cell group.
2️⃣ If any group is below 3V, use a dedicated lithium charger to safely bring it back to 100%.
3️⃣ If a cell group is at 0V, it’s completely dead and must be replaced.
4️⃣ NEVER connect a weak battery in parallel with a good one—this can cause overcharging and fire!
