Most of us grab a camera, and snap a picture and it's either on eye level or in front of your chest. Stop doing that, and let me explain why.
You can make so much better looking photos if you stop taking photos from your eye level or your waist. My name is Rico Richardson and in this video we're going to talk about camera angles. By using different camera angles you can play around with your composition or the effect your subject will have on the photo. The first camera angle is one of my most favorite. Now even though nobody likes to look in people their nostrils, I still believe the low angle shot is great. It helps you to make your subject look more powerful. In video, these shots are usually used to showcase the hero or a villain. It's also commonly used in action videos when the guys take out their weapons or money from the trunk of the car. Now here's a photo of me replicating that effect. Doesn't that look very artistic? Or maybe this photo where I stand like a marvel action hero. Like many things in photo and videography, there is always a counterparty. In this case it's the low angle shot but I'll get back to that later in the video, so be sure to stick around.
