Making decisions about what’s safe to purchase for your family use and consumption can be daunting with so many marketing claims and empty promises from major brands. That’s why I have decided to scan everything before putting it in my shopping cart.
I recently discovered and downloaded the YUKA App. It measures the safety of certain foods and cosmetics and gives them a score ranging from 0-100. A score of 100-75 is EXCELLENT. A score of 74-50 is GOOD. A score of 49-25 is POOR. And a score of 24-0 is BAD.
In this video I help my friend Dora download the YUKA App and scan items she already has in her home. She was surprised to find a bottle of coconut oil that received a poor rating. But one of the features of the app it that it will recommend safer alternatives for her. Download the app for free.
