Ten Stony Brook University endowed faculty members were formally installed on October 24, 2025, during a ceremony at the Charles B. Wang Center Theater. The ceremony featured remarks from Stony Brook University President Andrea Goldsmith, PhD; Provost and Executive Vice President Carl Lejuez, PhD and keynote speaker Ellen K. Pikitch, PhD.
Each of the newly installed endowed faculty members, along with their philanthropic supporters, shares a deep passion for advancing knowledge in fields ranging from Physical and Quantitative Biology to Artificial Intelligence, which was celebrated and highlighted throughout the ceremony.
