Old school stone workers cutting stone with hand operated saws.
People used to do hard jobs working long hours and then doing it again the next day and the next, a pattern that goes back to ancient times. I'm so ancient I remember before dial up internet or mobile phones, let alone smartphones.
I used to have to walk 5 miles uphill to go to school and 5 miles uphill to get back home again. We had it tough I tells ya in the 1980's but at least I was born after they invented colour. My grandparents didn't get to see a blue sky until they were already grown up with children of their own. It was all shades of grey back then unless you were rich and could afford to live in the sepia regions of the world.
I tells ya it was tough back then. Only the rich kids were given a beating, we had to save up and pay for it ourselves!!
