The second annual Stockholm Youtube Gathering is a two-day open get-together for Youtubers (creators as well as viewers) where we socialize, film and continue to build the community.
Last year's gathering was the very first public Youtube gathering in Sweden and brought together over 70 people of all ages, and several from abroad. See one of many recaps here: youtube.com/watch?v=_mIneu91f38
Where is it?
Saturday is the main day where we meet up around 10 am on Sergels Torg and then, depending on the weather, we move to a more relaxed place. The Sunday meet-up place is yet to be announced.
Who can come?
Anyone who makes videos on Youtube, or watch videos on Youtube (pretty much anyone) is welcome. Age is not an issue as we've seen people ranging from 12 to, well a lot older. However, if you're young, make sure to bring a friend and make sure your parents know.
What will I do when I get there?
Just show up and find me. Everything will be fine from there on. Don't forget your camera if you have one.
What can I do?
You can let me know you're coming by clicking 'attending'. If you're a videomaker, vlogger or whatever, be sure to make a video telling people you're going. That way, people can start to get to know each other beforehand, and you spread the word about the gathering. Also, feel free to invite friends to this event.
