In recent decades, BMWs adorned with the mighty 'M' logo on their wide flanks usually signified one thing: a fantastic driving experience coming your way. But is this still the case in 2025?

The latest (G87) M2 is potentially the last of a dying breed. The last M-car to only rely on a combustion engine alone, and the last with the option of the fabled manual gearbox. So is this a car to be celebrated? Or does it not quite hit the mark?
