In this video I explain some of my thoughts around the compositions I am creating before going into the actual painting demonstration.

For decades I've been painting and I like to give myself challenges so that I continue to learn and grow as an artist. In this current series I am challenging myself to use the same still life set up to paint both a watercolor and an acrylic painting.

I have some vases with an Asian design, and this is one of them. The leaves and flowers are fake, which gives me an infinite amount of time to try different arrangements and media ;-)) My intention for this series of small art is that they be cheerful, playful, and fun to look at.
