Keeping plants alive! Until rain from 26th onwards- the end of a frequent 40 day late-summer weather pattern, since St Swithin's Day on 15th July.

Dwarf French beans were sown 8th July and transplanted 17th, five weeks ago. The bed of Brussels sprouts has already given a fantastic harvest of carrots in late May and June, and the celeriac bed has already given a lovely harvest of leeks.
For more interplanting and companionship options, see my book grow together. #nodig
